Conbook Information

The 2013 FCN Convention Booklet is your one stop shop to learn the secrets that lie hidden within the Convention! If you would like to add your art or writing skill to the booklet, we would love to include it.

The Deadline for submissions for this year's book is February 11th, and all submissions should be related to the 2013 Con theme: Mad Science!

Submission guidelines for all content

Stories: Length: keep it reasonable, submissions may be rejected at our discretion. If you are concerned with the length of your story, email us. File Formats: DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF

Images:

Maximum dimensions: 8.5in wide, or 11in tall
Minimum Resolution: 300-600 dpi at actual size (higher is always better)

The Booklet is being printed in Black & White/Grayscale

File Formats:

Bitmap Illustrations can be submitted as PSD, max-quality JPEG, or PNG files.

Vector illustrations and advertising layouts can be submitted as Adobe Illustrator (AI), EPS, or PDF format.

(Please remember to convert text to outlines when submitting files with embedded text.)

Don't see a format you like to use on the list? Just contact us. Also, any color submissions will be converted to black and white / grayscale. We will do our best to retain the highest quality possible.

Advertising

Want to advertise in the Furry Connection North conbook?

Advertising sizes and rates are as follows:

Most of our ads have been through trade, which we've always done straight up like for like. Looks like we used to do $80 a page, but that was a few years ago, so let's step it up to $100 a page, $50 for half, $25 for quarter.

Full Page: 7.5 x 10 ($100)
Half page: 7.5 x 4.75 ($50)
Quarter page: 3.25 x 4.75 ($25)

Ad Swaps

If you're interested in doing an Ad-Swap, please contact us. All cases will be considered on an individual basis.

We reserve the right to either request adjustments in content, or decline any submissions at our discretion. Specifications are subject to change. By submitting to Furry Connection North, you affirm that you own all copyrights related to the submission and give your consent for them to appear in our 2013 convention publications. No further transfer of ownership or license is implied.
