No minor registrations will be processed on site at Furry Connection North 2012. Anyone under the age of 18 who wishes to attend must pre-register by Friday March 30th. Parental consent forms must be postmarked by the same date.

The number of minors coming to our registration desk without notarized forms or guardians was simply too high in previous years. As the convention continues to grow, we can not afford to dedicate the time on site to follow up with parents over the phone or wait for forms to be faxed in. This will streamline the process for all attendees and allow us to keep our registration quick and efficient.

For payment by check or money order, Paper Registration Forms can be mailed to Furry Connection North / 3588 Plymouth Rd. #271 / Ann Arbor, MI 48105. If you register online, you will still need to mail the Parental Consent Form in to the same address. If you have any questions about the change in process, please direct them to registration@furryconnect.com

My friend was told it is free to get INTO fcn. That you only need a badge to be a part of any events. Is this info corect?

You could walk into the hotel lobby without a badge. That's about it. They'll check for your badge if you want to go pretty much anywhere else.
If you aren't staying at the hotel, they could ask you to leave the property as well. Chances are you could hang around the lobby and get away with it, but why not just get the day pass and actually enjoy the con?

Yes, to clarify (thanks sorcererdale): this is referring to the official convention registration badge which gets you into events. Many people also commission badges of their fursona, which are not in any way required.

No, it is not free to get into FCN. We have rented the entire hotel and all space is considered convention space. You must purchase a badge to be present at FCN.

And not to be confused by the word badge, it is a paid for badge, not just any badge of your fursona.
