In case you need to get car service from Detroit International Airport here's some potentially helpful information.

This company is slightly cheaper but Reservations are Requested please mention "Furry Connection North" when reserving your car to get the con rate. The company recommends reserving your car 3 hours in advance if you can unless you don't mind waiting a bit (between 25-35 minutes). Fair from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) to The Sheraton Detroit Novi $50 Per Car or Minivan one way (Tip Extra) so if you know someone coming in at the same time buddy up and save some cash.
For getting to the con from your friend's house, I would suggest using this link to find directions:

Parking is free and plentiful at the convention. If you turn in at the traffic light on Haggerty Road at the Taco Bell, the first parking lot you come to is the one that is best for people staying at the hotel. It is closest to the hotel lobby and the elevators to the hotel rooms. This is also the parking lot that fills up the fastest.
If you continue past the front of the hotel, there is another large parking lot. This is best for those who are day-tripping, since it is closest to where all of the convention events take place (Dances, Dealers Room, Registration, etc.). I have never seen this lot get remotely full.

Can you please provide information on driving to the con? For example, where to park, prices, etc? I am staying at a friend's house in Novi and will be driving everyday, so any information on this would be very helpful. Thank you!
